The Jack Russell Terrier Rescue UK is a not for profit organization – saving Jack Russell Terriers from Pounds, abandonment, mis-treatment and rehoming unwanted pets. We rely on donations as we have no other source of funding. We rescue & re-home across the whole of the UK. Although we are dedicated to Jack Russell Terriers, we will also help unwanted, homeless & abused Dogs of all breeds.
Jack Russell Terrier Rescue UK dogs are in family foster homes in Wales, North London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Cheshire, & West Yorkshire, We rehome across the UK. We have successfully rehomed dogs from Scotland to the Isle of Wight.
Our mission is to find and rehabilitate every discarded, broken little doggy soul we can. If a dog is sick, we’ll treat it, and if it’s scared, we’ll show it how to love. There is no such thing as a “lost cause”, we’ll never put a dog down.

Jack Russell Terriers are small dogs with big, bold and fearless personalities and high energy levels. As pets they can make amazingly loving and loyal companions.
If you’re ready to match their energy and commitment, they’ll be one of the most rewarding dogs you’ll ever have. If not … they’ll still be brilliant – just at outsmarting you!
They are confident, funny and endlessly entertaining. They learn fast and love mental challenges and they will very quickly form a really strong bond with their humans. They may be small in size but as a hiking buddy or running partner they’ll keep going as long as you do and will need exercise and stimulation everyday.
A Jack Russell Terrier will be a great fit if you’re active and happy to keep on training, want a dog that does things with you, have time for play, enrichment, and structure and appreciate a dog with attitude and humour.

At the Jack Russell Terrier Rescue UK we have lots of lovely Jack Russell Terriers and Jack Russell Terrier Crosses seeking homes, so if you are considering adopting a Jack Russell please get in touch.
In all cases a home check will be required & adoption fee applies. We do not rehome to households with young children. Some of our dogs are suitable for terrier experienced homes only, we can discuss each individual dogs requirements with you.
Please be patient when waiting for a reply, If you have filled in an application form and haven’t heard from us within 5 days please give us a call we will go through your application form with you over the phone and match you with the best dog suitable for you.
We do our best to keep the website up to date but please bear in mind that any dog on here may already have found a home by the time you phone.
