Welcome to Blue Cross Dog Rescue Southampton – our rehoming centre based in Hampshire. We find new, caring homes for homeless cats, dogs, small pets and horses across the UK.
We first opened in 1988 and our modern facilities have space for dogs cats, purpose-built puppy and kitten facilities and our own veterinary facilities.
Please Note: We run a closed adoption centre which means our kennels are not open for public viewing. This is to keep stress to a minimum for the pets in our care. You can visit between 11.00am and 4.00pm to drop off a donation or ask for advice (we are closed to visitors without a pre-booked appointment on Wednesdays) but you cannot visit to see a pet without an appointment as it can be stressful and disruptive for them and many of them are in foster homes away from the centre.
