MiniMutts Dog Rescue is a small non-profit rescue. We have foster groups across Dorset and Hampshire. We recently opened a second group based in Northumberland, for Northern dogs needing help. All of our dogs are in foster, not kennels, as we believe that dogs thrive best in loving homes. We specialise in small breeds, but we do take larger dogs from time to time when we have suitable foster space.
We spend time with our dogs, sorting out any medical problems that we find, and carrying out training to help them overcome any behavioural issues that they may have. We pride ourselves in sending our dogs out to their new homes better able to face the world than when they came in. We advocate only force-free training methods.
Our work is truly a labour of love, and its only made possible with the help and generosity of our supporters – we thank all of you for your support.
Our dogs come to us from all walks of life – many were family pets that for a variety of reasons could no longer stay in their homes. They all have different stories, but they all come to us needing one thing – a loving forever home.
Not all rescue dogs have difficult issues – many just need the right environment to thrive. We love all of our dogs, and we work to find each individual dog the right home, where they will be a member of the family for the rest of their lives. All of our dogs stay with us until we find a perfect match.
Please visit Our Dogs page – by clicking on the individual pictures you can read all about each of our current dogs. If you are interested in an individual dog please complete the Adoption Form below the dogs profile. Homechecks and a £250 adoption donation apply in all cases.
