SYD’s purpose is to provide rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of vulnerable & at risk dogs in Yorkshire
We like to think it “does what it says on the tin” – it saves dogs that are vulnerable & at risk in the county of Yorkshire.
SYD Rescue is a volunteer led rescue charity that has a set of kennels in the Yorkshire Dales. It takes in dogs from pounds, vets and the public. Once in the care of SYD Rescue, dogs are assessed, rehabilitated and rehomed with suitable families.
The SYD Rescue volunteers are a friendly group with a joint goal of helping and rehoming Yorkshire’s vulnerable & at risk dogs.
Dogs adopted from Saving Yorkshire’s Dogs come with five weeks free pet insurance, whatever their age!

I'm not a charity and don't run this site for profit - I fund the site myself and do things in my spare time with the sole aim of helping all those amazing dog rescues in the UK.
I'm completely self-taught in website development so, the occasional donation helps me keep things going, learn more and build a better site. Any donations are always gratefully recieved and really appreciated - thank you so much.
