Warrington Animal Welfare is a mainly volunteer-run rescue, operating throughout Warrington and surrounding areas.
Our Mission is to:

- Provide low cost neutering for pets whose owners are on benefits/low income
- Offer help and assistance to rehome unwanted pets
Warrington Animal Welfare is a registered charity which was originally established in 1983 by Joan Rimmer B.E.M. and the late June Jackson.
WAW was setup to provide financial support for pet owners on low income or benefits to help them to pay to have their pet’s neutered, in a bid to reduce the amount of stray, abandoned and unwanted pets in Warrington.

You can find other useful information such as, what is involved when having your pet microchipped and the benefits of this procedure.
Warrington Animal Welfare offer re-homing assistance, whereby we can help owners rehome their pets from home, by assessing them and posting them on this site and our Facebook and Twitter pages for perusal by potential new owners.
We also opened our first rescue centre in 2013, which has allowed us to help alot more unwanted pets.
If you would like to foster/adopt one of the pets listed, please take time to read our fostering and rehoming policies first.
