Dina was rescued last year utterly emaciated on the streets of Serbia, she had been thrown out by her hunter owner as deemed not to be a good enough working dog. We have nurtured her back to full health, she has really blossomed with our team in Serbia, Dina is a friendly, affectionate, very active, playful girl, a typical English Pointer.
We are looking for a rural or semi rural home, experience with the breed or similar breeds, a good understanding of working breeds as Dina was a working dog before being thrown out to die. Confident in own training ability or a willingness to attend Gun Dog training, as with all HPR breeds she requires both physical exercise and mental stimulation, they enjoy games like treasure hunts and scent classes.
We are looking for a home where she will be a much loved member of the family, not just a pet, a home that has plenty of time for her and where she won’t be left at home for long periods of time, time for canine enrichment is important to these breeds. She is good with the dogs she lives with, very sociable, she does walk on a lead, but needs further training in all areas. We think she is gorgeous and the family that get to adopt her will be very lucky.
She is fully health checked, neutered, vaccinated and titer tested, home checks apply and a willingness to follow the rescues guidelines. Adoption fee is £620, you must be willing to have a home check and to abide by the rescues rules and guidelines.
